Overview

During this project, you will research the Hoosac Tunnel and create a PowerPoint slideshow. The project will be completed in stages.

Stage #1 - Perform a Google or Yahoo image search, and save full size images into your personal folder. Remember - do not save the thumnail images that are displayed following your image search. Click on the thumnail image and you will be taken to the web site which has the full-size image. Save the full-size image into your folder.

Stage #2 - Visit the websites listed below and complete your "Slide Guidelines" worksheet.

Stage #3 - Open PowerPoint and select "Blank Presentation."

Stage #4 - Create your slideshow. Use the information from your "Slide Guidelines" worksheet to complete the written portion of your slides.

Stage #5 - Insert a previously saved photo from your folder. Photos should correspond to the written information on each slide.

Stage #6 - Add animations and slide transitions as appropriate.

Stage #7 - Run your slideshow. Your slideshow should run automatically from beginning to end.
